Crossdressing Tips 10 Simple Ways To Look & Feel More Feminine.
Go Bold and Bright
Mixing and matching bright colors into your wardrobe is a great way to look more feminine. Try a bright pair of shoes, or a pop of color in your handbag or belt.
Wear Clothes That Fit
Fit your clothes to your body, make sure they fit and do not swallow you up. Accentuate the areas of your body like your hips with a flare skirt or peplum top, and learn to hide the areas that look masculine like our shoulders with a cardigan. You can also take items to a local tailor to have them altered to fit better.
Wear Perfume.
Smelling more feminine will help you FEEL more feminine. Find a scent that works for YOU.
Wear Heels.
To me this is the ultimate in feeling more feminine. Nothing makes me feel more girly than a sexy pair of heels.
Wear Jewelery
It is surprising how much the right necklace & earrings can make you look more feminine.
Try a new wig.
Curls and waves look etremely femme, and will have you feeling more femenine too.
Get Sexy.
Slip on some sexy underwear, & a sexy bra...
Know What Works For Your Body.
Know what style dresses, tops, skirts etc work well for your body type. Get to know your shape, and how to make the clothing you wear work for you.
Heaven In a Handbag...
I love a great handbag, and it is one item that definately makes me feel more feminine. Even if your at home, practice walking & carrying your handbag, you will be amazed at how feminine you will feel.
All the small things.
Pay attention to little details and accents. Like maybe a bow in your hair. A bright color nail polish. How about a patterned scarf? Little details will go a long way making you feel more feminine and LOOK more feminine too.

With the summer heat, one of the best ways to prevent your face from melting off, is with a makeup setting spray.
A makeup setting spray is a product, you spray on your face after your makeup is done to help "set" it for the day. Think of it as hairspray for your face, in fact some of the same ingredients in hairspray are in makeup setting spray, and hairspray is the old faithfull drag queen trick. Now that we are in the peak of face melting season with the high temperatures and humidity levels lets check out some of the setting sprays on the market.
E.L.F. Makeup Mist Set
My motto in life is you always get what you pay for, and although this setting spray does work, it's not REALLY for the hotter weather and sweating... ehhh.....
NYX Matte Finish Fini Mat
Another affordable setting spray, that actually holds up pretty well for the price..not AS good as the Urban Decay ( below) but for those on a budget it is a great choice.
Urban Decay All Nighter
This was my go-to setting spray for a while, it REALLY does the trick, especially in the heat, or a sweaty night of dancing, it does however give you a bit of a shine, but your makeup will hold up...that could just be me with me greasy Italian skin...so dont rule this spray out..it does it's job well.
Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray
Claiming to hold your makeup in place for 16 hours, Skindinavia products are on the top of the list, me and my gal pal both swear by this brand for setting sprays...she uses this one...and her makeup is flawless !!!
Skindinavia Bridal Makeup Finish
If it is good enough for makeup artists to use on summer bridezillas, it is good enough for my face too ( and I wont be wearing white anytime soon ) this has been my go to setting spray..in fact I am due for a re-up..I have worn this out all night dancing, slept in it, woke up at noon, rolled to lunch and had gals say " I LOVE your look".....thank you...."I woke up like this"......
Crossdressing Tips Top 5 Beard Covers Ways To Cover Hide Beard Shadow
One of the hardest things in crossdressing is doing your best to try to hide / cover a 5 O'clock shadow, and cover up your beard area. When I first started I wanted to make beard cover a number one priority. Since laser is something I cannot afford, I have had to find the best way to combat the issue of covering up my beard area with makeup. Along the way I have tried many different products. Here are a few and my opinion of them. What is YOUR favorite beard cover ? What do YOU use. Please feel free to add your crossdressing beard cover tricks in the comment section.
1. Ben Nye 5 O'Sharp.
By far my favorite...not cakey, smooth...and REALLY does a great job to cover up your beard area....& it is only 10 bucks too....you can see more info on Ben Nye's 5 O'Sharp and a tutorial video RIGHT HERE
I was turned on to this product from Karen from Femme Fever . This actually should have been number one on my list, but it would be NOTHING without a touch of Ben Nye's 5 O'Sharp on those really tough dark spots...but the combo of a light coat of Mehron Clown Pink on my beard area, followed by the Ben Nye on the tougher spots, has really worked well for me. One thing that really helps with ALL these products, is letting it warm up on your face, and do not rub in, but rather PAT the product into your skin with either your finger, or a makeup sponge. 3. Dermablend Cover Creme
Dermablend is the classic crossdresser beard cover. Use it lightly...in my opinion, this product is a bit cakey, so less is more when it comes to Dermablend, some girls swear by this product. I am not one of them, & that is ok...everyones face is different, and this just might be the holy grail of beard covers for your skin. A drag queen favorite, I experimented with this product, it does work very well, in fact I use it still to this day for any part of my beard area that needs to be highlighted. ( Think contouring in your beard area)...to me it is a touch greasy, which does not work well if you are an oily Italian like me, and I need to dumb it down a bit with a setting powder, See it HERE
5. Black Opal True Foundation Creme Stick
Great product for those with a darker skin tone. This can work as a foundation or a beard cover. I use it occasionally when I want to contour or darken a certain area in my beard , you can see it HERE along with a tutorial video of how it was used as a contour

Crossdressing Tips Tricks Advice & Help The Very BEST Of The Blog
So after a crazy busy season of traveling, blogging & partying, I am due for a nice Staycation. My pocketbook is begging me to slow DOWN a bit and I need to catch my breath So I am going to take some time off from the blog, just relax, hopefully catch up with some friends, hit the beach, go out on a date or 2 or 6 and maybe just head out here in New York locally.
